I have been posting that using drones,domestically is a recipe for trouble. They are flown on frequencies which are not open to anyone else other than the drone owner/operator. They do not appear on radar, nor are they fitted with transponders, which would make them show up,at least.
There has just been a near miss at Jfk airport and nobody will admit that it as their drone. The FAA is now involved. My point is a what if one and this article would appear to agree with me. What happens when a drone and an airliner collide???
